Here is a collection of type samples using a variety of desktop publishing programs and word processors used for book text. Each sample is a downloadable and printable PDF file of a single page with a standard text, composed with a standard set of specifications. Now you can compare typical output of these programs and judge for yourself the significance of any differences. Thanks to the contributors of these samples!
